signed up for a walking tour tt our hostel provides on day 2. our tour guide was a young japanese man who is studying uni in america and was back for a hol. he brought us to a nearby market to walk walk then to a shrine. before reaching e shrine, there was a long long flight of stairs. almost died after we raced to e top haha. e shrine was quite unlike wad we had seen cos it was more quiet and nt crowded at all. and inside, there was a mini zoo la haa. housing several animals and birds, including peacocks.

in e afternoon, we went to dejima, e only window to e west during japan’s period of national isolation. we gt to see e reconstructed residences, warehouses etc and understand abit abt its history for an admission fee of 500 yen. okie la nt too interesting for me. but it was gd we were nt bad at self-entertaining haha.

after dejima, we went to a mall nearby and i saw a briefcase i really liked! and it was pretty affordable at 6000 yen like tt. but didnt buy in e end cos we all thot tokyo will hav ha. as tokyo was our last stop before gg back sg, we all pushed our shopping till then. bad move. i couldnt find it anymore in tokyo and had to settle for my 2nd love haha. anyway at e mall, we all shared a big bowl of nice noodles which was a popular dish in nagasaki. tasted like soupy hokkien mee haa. yummy. and also shared a plate of takoyaki.

later in e evening, we made our way to e cable car station. yea we were gg up mt inasa at nagasaki! to enjoy e night scenary and cool breeze ha. a round trip ticket cost us 1200 yen and e ride was short lo haa. took only like 5 mins to reach e summit. nt worth e money!

e view up there was nt bad. but perhaps cos nagasaki itself wasnt a very bustling city, e view wasnt too fantastic also la. anyway, we took a 世界那么大 video too, after seeing e one taken by ryan they all in vietnam haha. we spent some time admiring e scenary up there and ms wee was shivering with cold ha. ya sometimes it gt abit too windy and chilly for us. later in e night, loads of students came pouring in. haha. seemed like some sch excursion. nt bad lo like very fun. and tt marked e end of our nagasaki trip.
