day 7: fukuoka

e tour guide baton was officially passed to jasmine and she brought us to fukuoka ha.

reached fukuoka and our hostel – khaosan - was quite a distance away from e station. on our way walking to e hostel, we passed by a restaurant offering cheap set lunches and thus decided to fill our stomachs before proceeding. oh e lunch was damnnn good la haaha. and e restaurant was nice too. super worth it and super energised after e meal ha.

checked into our hostel after tt. e 4 gers stayed in a 4-bed room while me and qida shared a room. like other hostels, it has a common area, kitchen and other amenities.

our first destination was yahoo! dome, a baseball stadium. actually cos it was on e way la so we decided to jus go see see, mayb there gt some practices or wad ha. when we reached, it was super crowded. then we realised there was a match starting later in e day ha. so could see many fans queuing for their tix. too bad i noe nuts abt baseball, if nt perhaps i might go and watch a match haa.

on our way to e beach, we passed by a mall called hawks town. nth much actually, jus tt it was quite pretty haha.

reached e beach soon. according to our guide jasmine, it was a man-made beach ha. nt bad, quite nice still. and we walked on e sand all e way to e area tt was bustling with beach bars etc. it wld b great if we had e time to jus relax and spend a lazy afternoon on e beach haa.

after spending some time at e beach, we passed by a pillar and had alot of fun with it. yes, a pillar could make us happy haaa.

wanted to hav dinner at some stalls by e river one. but they were really tooo expensive for us. so 6 of us jus shared 2 bowls of ramen, which we thot were nt very nice. after tt, we found another restaurant and shared some food there. tt marked e end of our fukuoka trip.
