day 12: okayama

we checked into a ryokan called matsunoki ryokan in okayama. due to some misunderstanding, dinner wasnt served as wad we previously thot. breakfast will still b served though ha. all of us will b staying tgt in one big tatami room. nice!

day 8 and 9: nagasaki

our train from fukuoka to nagasaki was great cos we were given first class seats haha.
it was raining heavily when we reached nagasaki and so we decided to take a tram ride to reach our hostel – akari. walked passed spectacles bridge and saw our hostel finally ha. checked in only at 3pm man.

e tour guide baton was officially passed to jasmine and she brought us to fukuoka ha.
reached fukuoka and our hostel – khaosan - was quite a distance away from e station. on our way walking to e hostel, we passed by a restaurant offering cheap set lunches and thus decided to fill our stomachs before proceeding. oh e [...]

before we left kyoto in e morning, we stopped by a post office to send out postcards to our loved ones in sg haha.

took JR train in e morning from nagoya to kyoto, our next destination, and with xinwei as our guide.

reached changi airport terminal 3 at 9plus pm on 26 may 2009 and met up with e rest of BBS. everyone was feeling excited abt e trip! haha. after a goodbye to our sendoff parties, we walked into e departure door.
